I
am a brazilian native living in Los Angeles for over a year whose languages of command are Portuguese (native), English (proficient) and
Spanish (advanced). Back in Brazil, I worked for 16 years as an
English teacher and pedagogical coordinator at several English Language
Schools. Graduated in Tourism & Hotel Management, I also worked as an event
coordinator, wedding planner assistant, and manager at restaurants. In the translation/interpretation field, I am a
professional translator for dubbing (EN><PT-BR), whose main task is to
translate scripts of films, tv series and other projects for the tv
entertainment industry. I am also experienced as a freelance interpreter (legal,
trade, events and weddings interpretation). I love interecting with people and learning from
them. Working as a facilitator in the communication process is what has
motivated me the most over the years.
