Source text - English Virtual reality (VR) is an interactive computer-generated experience taking place within a simulated environment,
that incorporates auditory, visual, haptic, and other types of sensory feedback. This immersive environment
can be similar to the real world or it can be fantastical, creating an experience that is not
possible in ordinary physical reality. Augmented reality systems may also be considered a form of VR that
layers virtual information over a live camera feed into a headset or through a smartphone or tablet device giving
the user the ability to view three-dimensional images.
Current VR technology most commonly uses virtual reality headsets or multi-projected environments,
sometimes in combination with physical environments or props, to generate realistic images,
sounds and other sensations that simulate a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment.
A person using virtual reality equipment is able to "look around" the artificial world, move around in it,
and interact with virtual features or items. The effect is commonly created by VR headsets consisting of
a head-mounted display with a small screen in front of the eyes, but can also be created through specially designed rooms
with multiple large screens.
VR systems that include transmission of vibrations and other sensations to the user through a game controller or
other devices are known as haptic systems. This tactile information is generally known as force feedback in medical,
video gaming and military training applications

Translation - Arabic الواقع الافتراضي هو تجربة رفمية تفاعلية ضمن بيئة افتراضية تفوم باستخدام عدة أنواع من المعلومات كالسمعية, و البصرية و الحسية لخلق تجربة "غامرة" يمكن أن تشابه العالم الحقيفي أو أان تكون خيالية بحتة موفرة بذلك تجربة غير ممكنة ضمن أطر الواقع.
اما بالنسبة لتقنية الواقع المعزز فيمكن اعتبارها كشكل من أشكال الواقع الافتراضي حيث تقوم بدمج معلومات معينة بشكل افتراضي مع ما تلتقطه عدسة الكاميرا الخاصة بالهواتف الذكية او الأجهزة اللوحية وعرضها بشكل مباشر على الشاشة أو من خلال
نظارات معينة ممكنة بذلك المستخدم من مشاهدة صور ثلاثية الأبعاد
تشكل نظارات الواقع الافتراضي- وهي هبارة عن اداة تشبه الخوذة و تحتوي على شاشة صغيرة تتوضع أمام الأعين مباشرة- الطريقة الاكثر إنتشارا واستخداما مع تكنولوجيا الواقع الافتراضي و أحياناٌ ما تستخدم بالتزامن مع أنواع أخرى من الأجهزة تفوم بتوليد معلومات بصرية, وسمعية, وحسية لخلق تجربة تحاكي تواجد المستخدم في البيئة الافتراضية.
ويستطيع المستخدم عن طريق تلك الأجهزة التجول في العالم الافتراضي و التفاعل مع مكوناته
كما ويمكن استخدام البيئات متعددة الإسقاط أو العرض وهي عبارة عن غرف خاصة مزودة بعدد من الشاشات الكبيرة لتحقيق نفس النتيجة
تدعى أجهزة الفي ار التي تقوم ببث المعلومات الحسية كالهتزازت وتنقلها إلى المستخدم عن طريق قبضات التحكم أو وسائل أخرى بالأنظمة الحسية.
ويعرف هذا النوع من المعلومات الحسية في المجالات الطبية, العسكرية, وألعاب الفيديو بنظم ردود فعل القوة
