I am a qualified English teacher and linguist and have been working as  such in the course of about 37 years now.  

Education and qualifications:

1977-finished the English Language School in Vidin,Bulgaria

1980-graduated from the University of Veliko Turnovo, Master's degree in English Philology and Bulgarian language as a second specialty.

I have attended a number of training courses, the most important of which was in Oxford in 2005.

My work experience is as follows:

1997-2019-Teacher of English in the Secondary School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences,Vidin.

1987-1997-Tutor inthe Community centre,Vidin.

1983-1987-Teacher of English in the English Language School,Vidin.

Most of the students I  have taught  throughout the years were intermediate and advanced level.

I am looking to further develop my skills and experience as a translator, so being a responsible,dynamic and highly motivated person,I am capable of providing competent translations and services at reasonable prices.I don't mind translating from Bulgarian into English ,although my preferable pair is English-Bulgarian.

Apart from my basic profession, I also work as a licenced tour guide for the Balkantours Company,Bulgaria which cooperates with Viking,Ama Prima, Uniworld and other.This additionally extends my knowledge of English,bringing me into direct contact with native speakers.
