iMachinary | 2022 - Present

Member of the localization team for Asana, a work management platform. The translated content includes in-app strings (Mobile and Desktop versions), blog posts, articles on business administration, Customer Service emails, and help guides for the users.

TED Translators | 2022 - Present

Participating in the volunteer program that creates subtitles for TED Talks videos, assisting in the global propagation of their content. The subtitling process is carried out by using the web-based software CaptionHub.

In this project, I am responsible for the translation and localization of the content, creating subtitles that are in compliance with the organization's guidelines. I also make sure the subtitles are synchronized with the appropriate speech intervals and shot changes.

Freelance Translator - Pactera | 2021

Collaborated with Pactera on a 5-month-long MTPE subtitle project, having worked personally on the translation of more than 120K words. 

The project entailed content created for social media with varying themes, including but not limited to: makeup and clothes, games, pop culture, social commentary, and recipes.

Completed translations of scientific abstracts and articles for peers while in academia, specializing in the Natural Sciences and Education.

More recently, worked on academic translation jobs in other areas for private clients.

Licentiate Degree

I hold a licentiate degree in Chemistry from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF),  in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I have also studied for two semesters at University College Dublin, in Ireland, during my undergraduate program.
