I teach English translation at all levels, but my dearest area of expertise is Arabic. I have translated and edited several literary or literary-related works, and I have performed some criticism on Arabic media. I read Arabic media everyday and have a penchant for cross-cultural relationships: where a glimpse of the Other permeates us making us feel different, or where language makes the Other accessible and familiar, doing away with received stereotypes.

I work from English and Arabic into Spanish and Catalan.
