Bio

I am an university educated native Dutch speaker who has resided in the US since 1996.

  • I love making language look and sound good.
  • Formerly in quantitative financial analysis, I rolled into translation in 2008.
  • I have been translating/proofing a wide variety of content from a wide variety of fields ever since.
  • My clients consist of translation bureaus and individual companies. The projects are for well-known conglomerates to small companies.
  • Always delivering quality, always with a smile on my face.
  • Some is very technical, some more intuitive, some more educational.
  • From user interfaces to web content, from eLearning to medical devices, from financial tools to culinary courses, from legal documents to marketing materials.
  • Very interested to learn something new, I am open to new subjects. But I also feel I have more or less touched upon most, barring quantum physics.
