transmute is a network of freelance translators dedicated to providing superior-quality translation and communication services in a variety of fields. We combine an excellent command of languages and specialized knowledge in order to reach this goal.
The basis of transmute is networking. We see ourselves as individual providers of translation services / multilingual language services, working on different projects while collaborating in a network structure in order to utilize and benefit from our common resources.
We offer multilingual language services in the fields of translation, interpreting and terminology from and into German, English and Spanish.
Our network consists of translators who acquired their skills in translation studies or through a masters of science with an additional language specialization. Thus, we can offer a perfect combination of practical knowledge and linguistic sensibility – which is essential for the creation of comprehensible, orthographically and grammatically immaculate and stylistically convincing texts. In accodance with the topic and the required language combination, we exclusively assign colleagues with the appropriate expertise and experience for each translation job.

We use the latest translation-software technology. transmute compiles and maintains its own subject-, customer- and project-specific glossaries and terminology databases, which ensures consistent and correct terminology usage even in larger projects. A wide range of information concerning the project is stored in its individual project databases. This allows for continuous quality control as the individual vocabulary and specific language use is on hand in order to achieve perfect consistency with future projects.
We work flexibly and are always project-oriented; our rates are reasonable and our work is processed promptly and accurately. We will handle all of your information as strictly confidential.
