I am 55, married and have two teenage children. I settled in Italy in 1978. I worked for FAO of the UN for 22 years and am now happily retired. I have fluent Italian and also a very good knowledge of French, but feel comfortable translating this latter language only into English and Italian but not vice-versa. I have worked as a freelance translator and interpreter for a company specialised in quality control. I have also translated short stories, hotel brochures, tourist info, CVs, etc. I have also translated documents for Alitalia and Aeroporti di Roma. In my spare time I give English lessons to school children (ages 12-17). |
