Iata un exemplu in care francezul 'sujet de droit' (de unde al nostru 'subiect de drept') este echivalat direct cu 'subject of law':

Every subject of law who claims to be sovereign immediately rises up against .... of willing something, only he could be a legal subject ("sujet de droit"). ...

legal subject

Explanation:
Exemple de fraze:

The concept of the legal person or **legal subject** defines who or what the law will recognize as a being capable of having rights and duties.
http://www.lawsite.ca/WLSC/LegalPerson_w.htm

**Legal subjects** are at least natural persons and legal persons. Legal persons are entities with legal personality (for instance a limited company, or a municipality). Entities with legal personality generally speaking act though agents representing them, since they cannot act by themselves. There are also legal subjects that are neither natural persons nor legal persons.
http://www.metalex.eu/wiki/index.php/Legal_and_legislative_a...

The human person as the **legal subject** is the key constituent of every legal system.
http://cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=14392718

A “subject” is a person who understands something; that something is the “object” of her understanding. Hence a “legal subject” is a person who attempts to understand the law, legal
doctrine, and the legal system; these, in turn, are the “legal objects” she apprehends.
http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/jbalkin/articles/understandingleg...

(...)a natural legal person is a legal subject because of its only physical existence (even before birth and after death), whereas the legal person role needs to fit strict requirements, such as
age, mental non-illness, or artificial existence.
http://www.loa-cnr.it/Papers/ICAIL.pdf

Since a general partnership is a legal person, by law the undertaking is deemed to be created by the making of a corresponding entry in the commercial register. Whether a general partnership already factually exists from entry into a partnership agreement is a problematic issue in Estonian law. In certain cases, the law indeed indirectly acknowledges that a commercial undertaking being founded is a **legal subject**.
