French term or phrase: organisation de insolvabilite
Hello, I can't find this term which refers, I think, to the crime of making your company insolvent, or appear insolvent, in order to avoid having your assets seized. I wondered if there was a specific term.
Many thanks in advance,

This would translate it as per your explanation; however, you haven't given the French wording that would enable me to judge whether it really translates the source term in context.

Fraudulent insolvency

Explanation:
This could also be a possibility if it involves moving your assets prior to actual insolvency so as to 'be' insolvent for your creditors because they cannot reach those assets, but not actually being insolvent. Although, this terms seems to be different in several law systems so that sometimes it means insolvency through or involving fraudulent acts. So, depending on the context and target audience, both things here could be right.

CODE PENAL (Partie Législative)

Section 3 : De l'organisation frauduleuse de l'insolvabilité

Article 314-7
