tra le anse in pelvi

Italian to English Medical Medical: Instruments ultrasound
Again the abdominal ultrasound report for the child with suspected familial hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis:

Vena cava inferiore pervia visualizzata in tutto il suo decorso. Discreta falda fluida tra le anse in pelvi.

Would those "anse" definitely be the bowel or could they refer to any other part of the body?

yes of course I apologise to everyone, as in the rush to deliver, I didn't reveal all. So, here goes. In this case the "anse in pelvi" she suggested referring only to the pelvis rather than to any involvement of the large bowel, thus confirming my original doubt as to whether or how the liquid could have got through the peritoneum.

You’ve rather lost me. There is no surgical intervention in this case, and your examples seem to be picking up rather random uses of the terms e.g. light scattering in physics, which would not seem to be connected with a medical condition
