I can only think of soaked/covered/misted in sea spray here. Iodised sound wrong and too chemical. Treated could work but I believe that the grass in question has been sprayed naturally by sea water as it's on the coast.

....as in "lush grass, rich in iodine thanks to the sea spray"
It is possible to keep the "iodine" in there, imo, as it has so many positive properties; I agree however, that "iodised" does not feel appropriate.
