A couple of noteworthy company results came out during the month:

On the negative side, Jollibee Foods, the leading fast-food chain in the Philippines, announced disappointing results. Net income is being dragged down by their Smashburger operations in the US. The burger chain is still battling with negative same-store-sales growth.

On the positive side, Alibaba announced strong overall revenue growth. ***Core commerce revenue*** was up by 40% year on year and cloud computing grew an impressive 64%. Their margins held up as well. Furthermore, the company decided for a secondary listing of their shares in Hong Kong and they started trading on the 25th of November.
