What is odd in your piece of copy, is that "delivery system" usually refers to the launcher of a missile or projectile. The description, however, seems to be describing what is actually launched, hence the vanes for stabilization.

Your idea seems pretty good.
I visualise the thing as something like a hollow mortar bomb case with variable loading options. IIRR, a payload cup is also the description for the grenade launcher attachments that can be attached to rifles and use a propellant cartridge in the rifle magazine to fire whatever is in the cup.

Der angefragte Begriff kann angelehnt werden an bestehende Waffen aus den 80er-Jahren. Sozusagen die neuere und kleinere Version von technischem Gerät, welches im Luft-Boden Kampf eingesetzt werden kann.
