Newskij Prospekt Explanation: This is the commonly used German spelling ( i.e. in German translations of Russian literature). (I wrote my PHD thesis on Dostojewski) see also the following references: Um 1819 Auswanderung nach Petersburg, Konditorlehre. 1831 Geschäftspartner Salomon Wolfs, der die Konditorei seines Onkels Johannes Wolf unter dem Namen "Wolf und Béranger" (französisierte Form von B.) am Newskij Prospekt 18 übernommen hatte.
