English translation:do not translate
Explanation:
Hi Vi, you don't translate names, just leave the name as it is in your text. For example, you wouldn't translate Edinburgh as "Le Bourg d'Edin"!!!

neutral  Carmen Schultz: In this case it should be l'Auberge du Lac (Auberge means Inn/Bed and Breakfast/Hostel or Hotel)

Riverside. (Waterfront)

Explanation:
That's the meaning of "berge".
That's the name of the casino, right, build over water? Riverside, or waterfront.

French word , Laberge
L' Auberge du lac

Explanation:
Could it be misspelled in your entry? I think it can be "l'Auberge" Auberge is a word for a hotel of sorts (could be bed and breakfast type or simply a small hotel of the sort common in Europe that are family run).

Thus the whole name means \"Hotel by the Lake\"

The actual word I was looking for is \"Inn\" as in a country inn. It is a quaint place to spend the night and/or eat a nice meal.
There are also youth hostels called Auberge Jeuness but a regular Inn is simply l\'Auberge.
Note: Does the Casino have full service (restaurant and hotel accomodations)? If so, it is likely Inn or Hotel is the word you need.

VOILA, my suspicion is true: I did an internet search an indeed found
l\'Auberge du Lac Casino; there is also one called l\"Auberge du Grand Lac.

If the proper name is l\"Auberge du Lac (not Laberge du Lac), as I suspect, it stays the same. Names of hotels are not translated.
