Hi all,

I'm translating a text for an interior design company and would love if someone could help with the below:

'Avec une décoration fraîche et naturelle, cette collection qui prône le retour aux origines promet des intérieurs sereins et chaleureux où le sens du partage est central.'

The last part sounds strange to me... 'The feeling of sharing is central'?! 'The key feeling is sharing'?! I'm sure it can't be those. What I have for the rest is: 'With fresh and natural decoration, this collection advocates a return to basics and promises serene and warm interiors'

If anyone has any ideas I'd be really grateful.

My feeling is that the designer wants to create spaces in which people want to get together and share moments together (rather than skulking off to a bedroom on their own watching TV or playing on a smartphone...).

I found the website your text is from, and based on the look and feel of the site, and the additional copy I could read there, I really feel they’re getting at this idea of “co-living” or “shared living” here with “partage”.

  -> I don't think it's too wild to assume that co-living spaces or hotels get redecorated every now and then... I explain why I think it might be for this type of accomodation at the start of my answer.
