French term

points cardinaux en supérieur, en inférieur et en latéral

French to English Medical Medical (general) Incisional Hernia Repair
Hi,

This is the sentence:

"La mesh est fixée aux quatre points cardinaux en supérieur, en inférieur et également en latéral"

Are we talking about edges? walls? Mesh edges?

Thanks

Joanna

or cardinal points but the source text is redundant.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Althea Draper : Maybe 'cardinal points' instead of NESW - see this from the International Journal of Surgery https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S174391911... where it states, "The mesh was then anchored to the abdominal wall at four cardinal points"
