This is in a medical report of a patient that has undergone a thoracic and abdominal CT scan:
"scanner thoraco-abdominal en coupes de 5mm jointives après injection de produit de contraste intraveineuse bien tolerée par le patient. Acquisition native sur l'ensemble de l'abdomen et du pelvis".

I have not heard this term before "acquisition native" - are they referring to a scan made prior to the injection of the contrast media? Also "jointives" - is the term "overlapping"?

I think this just means "a comprehensive or thorough scan".

"jointive" not "overlapping" but "contact" i.e. touching (one meeting the next), sequential
