half-cycle Explanation: In electronic waveform analysis, the usual term would be 'half-cycle'. For example, the last phrase of the quoted text would be: "... les mesures sont effectuées sur une <<alternance>> positive" --> " ... the measurements are taken on a positive-going half-cycle" But I don't know if that term would usually be used in your context. |

LOL. sur = on...basis donné = specified herein (that information is provided herein) I hope this helps. |
