Hi,

Physiquement, le fonctionnement des dispositifs décrits est basé sur l'émission électromagnétique liée à l'oscillation des électrons soumis au double champ laser, à la fréquence optique. Cette émission apparait dans le référentiel du laboratoire avec un décalage Doppler important variant comme 2 fois le facteur de Lorentz au carré.

After plenty of feedback, I realise that I should have made the following more clear:
The Doppler effect causes a shift in frequency, so the best translation would be Doppler shift, or maybe something along the lines of shift caused by the Doppler effect if this is needed to fit the sentence.

neutral  Joshua Pepper: To me, "offset" suggests that the shift is constant and systematic or intentional, so I'm not sure that it works in this specific context (décalage variant).
