There is not much information on this, but enough to show that glissade is the name of a fabric (as the context suggests), and as so often happens with fabric names it is used untranslated in English.

"glissade 1. Cotton lining fabric made in a warp satin weave with polished cotton yarns in the warp and ordinary cotton yarns in the filling. Generally produced with a black ground with narrow white or colored stripes. Very shiny and smooth; better qualities make good lining. 2. Filling sateens, mercerized and schreinered in the piece and printed in similar colorings as 1., also are sold as glissades."

There are various lining fabrics that are slippery, but I think it would be wise to use the original term, as in these examples, because textile names are so specific and there are small differences between similar fabrics.
