Explanation:
Diciamo che il campo è abbastanza ampio, ma spesso per indicare il proprio compagno o compagna si usa anche questo, ovviamente restando in ambito informale e giovanile. Altrimenti anche le opzioni "tipo/a". Poi potremmo anche entrare nel campo del "dialetto", come ad esempio al sud, dove si usa "zita/o" per fidanzata ma forse li siamo un po fuori. (anche se potrebbe essere il corrispondente di moroso)
