Bio
I offer efficient translation and proofreading of texts from English (US and UK) into Norwegian Bokmål. I specialise in medical and technical translation, and typical text types that I work with are SPCs, PILs, FSPs, material related to clinical trials (informed consent etc.) and MSDS and PSDS, instruction manuals, and method statements. I also regularly translate app, software and website content.
I have been a volunteer translator since 2016, first through the Rosetta Foundation and now through Translators Without Borders. Work done includes translating for Special Olympics and Plant for the Planet, as well as proofreading for the UN refugee agency. I am also involved in the ongoing localisation of OmegaT, an open source CAT tool.
