My name is Ann Garsed, and I'm all around a creative person. From music, to writing, to performing arts, I've done it all. For 8 years, I worked as a translator and localization expert for Yelp.com, translating from English to Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish, and I was Yelp's go-to person for anything Scandinavian. But when the pandemic hit, Yelp's international team was discontinued.

I have also translated Swedish/English, including a music industry handbook. In addition, I do voice over work in English, Norwegian, and Swedish.

I was born in Norway, but I also lived in Sweden and Australia for several years, and I've now been living in the U.S. for more than a decade.

I love the written word. I'm an avid reader, and I often find myself mentally editing my own reading material. Whether or not a text has already been translated from its original language, it should flow well and get the message across. That's where I come in.
