Notes to answerer
Asker: If you're trying to hint something about my competence, I must ask you. Do you really feel its necessary to slander fellow translators on a public forum? It simply demeans our profession. I am not a dictionary, I am a translator. When I'm not 100% certain, I ask my peers for help. The work we do helps us to build a database which we all find invaluable from time to time, I don't care how bilingual you may be. Nobody is an expert in all fields, and sometimes, yes, we even get the odd section of text which is not in our own field. So back off.
