From (date):

I think this may be what it means at least.

Example sentence:

a dato, fork. a.d., lat., fra denne dag, etter utstedelsen (av f.eks. en veksel).

Peer comment(s):

agree Egil Presttun : Det kan være det.

agree Tara Chace : I think Vedis is probably right!

anmeldelsesdato

"anmeldelsesdato" would be "application date" or "notification date"
"ankomstdato" would be "arrival date"
"avreisedato" would be "departure date"

Of those the first seems to fit the context best, but the context is pretty vague. Perhaps the dates can serve as a clue?

I think Vedis is right.

Cappelen's norsk forkortingsordbok gives "a. dato" as "fra denne dag" (as of (date))
